In the last couple of weeks, there has definitely been a definite increase in the tension in our corner of the US. Rochester is up in arms and the conversations around race are becoming tangible for some people in a way they haven’t been before. This stream-of-consciousness poem came after multiple conversations with multiple people from multiple spheres in my life.
